Dell Laptop Modem ... Compatible with PowerBook?

My brother recently purchased a Powerbook 1400C-133 laptop ...

I, on the otherhand, have a Dell Latitude LM ... with an extra Megahtz
XJ3288R modem for the myl laptop.

Would the  the Megahurtz modem be compatible with the Apple Powerbook?
(My brother would like to have a modem with his new computer.)  If so,
where would I find the drivers?   If not, what type of modem would you
recommend.

As you can tell, I am a complete novice when it comes to Apple
computers, as is my brother.  And, any help would be appreciated.
