Heyhey
I'm sure Patrice felt sure anybody who can read french new what Peritel
is.
Any TV (or video equipment) sold in France for the past (??) 15 years
HAD to have a Peritel plug. By law. This is called a Norme i.e. a
Mandatory Standard. This is basically a sophisticated video+audio
connection to hook all TVs, VCRs, cable boxes, pay TV decoders, ...
together, with better quality than going through the modulated video.
Pretty convenient if you do all your video shopping in France:
everything works together. When you want to bring in something else...
Anybody knows how I could plug the video output of my french 1983 Apple
IIe into my french TV through Peritel? For US equipment, just plug yout
video out into the video in.
