my profoundest apologies. i had a half baked idea that i thought was
a good one, elected to not post, and then an apparent bug in my newsreader
went ahead and posted the semi-edited text fragments that i had told it
to discard.

ie- kindly disregard my previous post in this thread, and accept my
apology for the blunder. i don't know if it's possible to "unpost", but
i will try to clean up the mess
