PrintShop GS on hard drive?

Greetings!
Can anyone confirm for me that PrintShop GS is hard drive installable?
A student aide tried to install off original disk -- he claims "hard drive
install" was an option -- he doesn't know why it didn't work & now that
option no longer appears on the menu. When I catalog the disk I do see
something called HD.something_or_other which I take to mean maybe it was
possible.
If in fact HS install is possible, do you think it was by means of this
file? Would replacing that HD.something_or_other mean we could get another
chance at this?
If all the above is true, could someone be so kind as to send that file so
we can test our theory?
