   Nope. The calendar went from the end of the year on 1BC to the
start of the year on 1AD. There is no year 0. year zero, thus, there
can't be 2000 years from it. Thus, the third milennia starts at 2000
years from Jan 1 1AD, i.e. Jan 1, 2001 AD.

   As I said, Apple IIs deal better with Jan 1, 2000 than folks here.
