I disagree with you here. Whilst this is in all technicality .apple2, it
is also Apple in general. After all, I don't see you posting any
flaming articles when people start threads about Steve Jobs. After all, they
have nothing to do with the Apple2, do they? Just Apple in particular. I
must therefore conclude, (surprise surprise ;-)), that you have some
passionate grudge against Apple Macs.
If posts about Steve Jobs and other Apple Computer related issues can be
raised without scorn, I see no problem with the occasional Mac thread
without the usual spammers like yourself pulling out the flamethrowers. Hell,
especially if, but not limited to (a bit of legalese here), Mac threads which
are comparisons against the Apple // line.
So as long as we don't get flooded by Mac posts, I don't see any reason with
having an occasional Mac post without the postee being flamed. Again, they
are just as relevant to posts about Apple Inc., and I don't see you flaming
people who post those sort of articles.
Not that I even hold a glimmer of hope that you'll change your opinions
