There's Music Composer from Essential Software (if my memory serves),
SoundSmith, NoiseTracker (the original and a desktop program billed as
NoiseTracker 2.0 by a different author). All let you compose music.

There's a slew of music players (e.g. soniqTracker, modZap, Minstrel ...)

Do you want to SEE great graphics or create them? The best paint programs
for the GS are Platinum Paint and DreamGrafix. Have a look at the game
"DuelTris" to see what DreamGrafix can do.
