More HFS FST problems
I have a new problem that has surfaced with my Macintosh partition of my
hard drive. It is an odd situation, and I would like to know if anyone
has any idea how to fix it.
One of the folders on my hard drive does not show up in the finder, or
the standard get/save file dialog box. However, I can launch programs in
it useing Seven Hills Software's Quick Launch. Also, useing the just
installed MS-DOS utilities Command Com, I can catalog the folder by
typing "prefix :mac:utilities", where Utilities is the folder that has
vanished. Command Com does NOT show utilities when I catalog the root
directory.
I know the folder is not invnsible, or is a different way of being
invisible, because I can see the "Finder.data" and "Finder.root" files
that are in a few folders.
Any ideas? I plan to buy a Macintosh at a later date, but would be nuts
to dump my ROM 1 Apple IIGS. I have too much great software for it :).
P.S. If I am breaking any protocall, please bear with me. I don't need
to be flamed for ignorance.
