6502 Multitasking OS

I saw a discussion on the programming newsgroup (apple II)


It mentioned a multitasking OS, and I asked about it.


I did not keep reading the group, and no one emailed me a response.



I wish to know what a 6502 multitasking OS is.


What programs are available (and what are their features) for the IIgs 
that will do "multitasking"?


I have heard of SWITCHIT, but I do not know features, etc.


What are some "must know" tidbits of info. on the subject of the IIgs and 
Multitasking?
