OK, there was absolutely *no* excuse for that Ed Rep. not to know that
it was a II machine and not a Mac--but as for the general public, I can
see where they were/are confused--especially if they are people who are
new to computing.  Apple II's have not been on the standard retail store
shelves for some years now.  It's natural that the public would not know
what they are since the current basic marketplace is comprised of PCs
and Macs.

But, I don't see how this misperception is Apple's fault.  That's like
blaming Ford because there are people who don't understand what the
differences are between a Mustang and an Explorer.
