A similar incident happened at Value Village here this past Spring.

There was an ancient Mac on the shelf, no hard drive, 400K disk drive
and probably only 512K RAM. The keyboard had a missing key as well.
It was priced at $179.95.

A few days later, we noticed that someone had written 'Not Worth It'
right on the tag.

Not long after that, we were talking with this guy there who has
started asking us about what things should be priced at since we are
in the 'collecting scene', and he told us the Mac finally sold after
they knocked $100 off the price. I don't remember the full reason it
went, but I remember him mentioning that the guy who bought it was
plan on using it for some special purpose in his workshop.
