Avoiding a long-winded reply... :)

I own two Macs and a pair of multimedia PCs in addition to my Apple IIs
plus I get to pound on the latest and greatest at work, but I still use
my Apple IIs 'cause...

   o They're fun.
   o They're simple.
   o They're paid for.
   o They're versatile.
   o They're great to hack on.
   o They're capable.
   o I finally get to collect all those goodies I oogled over for years.

If nothing else, my Apple Is have taught me the cutting edge is fleating and a
damned expensive place to be. My 'new' (built from parts actually) PCs are
great for Myst and Zork Nemesis, my Macs are great for astronomy and satellite
tracking, and my Apple IIs still have their 1001 uses at home and work.

In the interest og not running on...
