If you have the docs I'd love to get my hands on a copy. I followed your
suggestion and was able to get it activated but there remains some
questions. Does the documentation list which voltage EPROMs can and cannot
be used? Is there a way to control the burn voltage? Is there disk based
software to use with it? And about another thousand questions. I
appreciate the help already provided and I'd really appreciate seeing the
docs. I'd be more than happy to pay for the copy fees, postage and
trouble. Let me know.

I found this in my OLD mail. I do have the docs.

   BAL 500 Series
   Auto-EPROM Programmer
   RP525
   Programs 2716 2732 2764 27128
   Software in ROM on board
   I have manual (no schematics)

If you are still interested, let me know.
As I recall, the docs says nothing about programming voltages
and make no reference to disk based software.

I have several programmers for the Apple II:

1) EP-064 EPROM Writer
   Programs 2708 2716 2732 2764
Uses personality modules (headers with jumpers). I don't have them.
   Software in ROM on board
   I don't have manual

2) Polisher EPROM Programmer
   Enhanced Adama Version V2.0
   Programs 2708 2716 2732 2764
Uses personality modules (headers with jumpers). I don't have them.
   Software in ROM on board
   I don't have manual

3) BAL 500 Series
   Auto-EPROM Programmer
   RP525
   Programs 2716 2732 2764 27128
   Software in ROM on board
   I have manual (no schematics)

4) Apparat PROM Blaster
   Programs 2704 2708 2716 2732 68764 2815 2816
Requires software. I do not have it, but may be able to get it.
   I have manual with schematics
Uses personality modules (headers with jumpers). I don't have them.
The manual tells how to build them

5) Mountain Hardware, Inc. ROMWRITER
Programs 2716 (single 5 volt power supply) EPROM
   I have software and manual

NOTE: #1 and #2 appear to be the same, but have different software in EPROM.

I'm trying to get docs and software for the ones that need it.
Anyone have it and want to trade?

I finally located the docs. It is not very big, but I need to manage my time
better, so if you'll send me $5.00 for my troubles,
I'll make you a copy and send it to you (US addresses ONLY).
