Let me put it frank to you, considering you're

1) Not contributing anything to the Apple // community with this drivel
2) Just starting a whole new flame with your petty insults (as opposed to
   having serious information
3) You seem to take every critcism as a personal insult.


You're making yourself out as a loser. So long as you keep posting this
stupid drivel you'll be consistantly seen as a loser. If the best you can come 
up with is these stupid banners, then you should leave the Apple // community,
thus  making it a better place.


At the very least, if you wanted to actually do something constructive, you
could put an informative article on why it is that you feel Nathan is wrong.
Perhaps put links to other information sources (like that presented in the
previous article that talked about the software that Turley is supposed to
have modified) [lost the link, sorry].

And that's just the problem. We have so many bozos posting nothing but
flames, the entire Apple // arena is turning into a warzone. It's also the
cause of all the furore over Nathan's Apple // FAQ access restricting.

I find it highly amusing that so many of you Nathanites 
[Nathanite: noun. 1) to be of a disposition to either a) worship Nathan or
b) suck up to him]

seem to blame Turley for everything since the expulsion of man from the 
Garden of Eden (and I'm sure some of you are working on that ;-) ), when you
seem to be generating just as much flame material.

Get it through you're head: You're doing just as much damage. Your flames
are making people leave the newsgroup in disgust. But I'm sure you've 
managed to twist the issue in your own minds so that Turley is guilty of 
that as well.

I'd just like to point out that really it is none of your business what
Turley may or may not have done. If the company that made the software that
they feel Turley has mucked around with is upset about it, then they should
take him to court. Whining about how bad he is and posting flames against
him is very unlikely to 1) make him leave the newsgroup or 2) sway new
Apple // newsgroup readers to your side 

[It's like the same problem with Nathan. I refer again to that excellent
article someone posted, where they said that: Nathan's consistant abusive
posts are more likely to make people side with Turley than the reverse, 
which I consider is a pity, since Turley has clearly been doing wrong
things." Whether or not I agree with the article is immaterial... it makes
the good point that abusive flames are not going to achieve anything except
making people think you're a spammer, and doubt the validity of information
on your web site.

[And these flames from a guy that can't even remember to put the /~gser/
in his Appole information page web address... and he complains about
Ismail's spelling!!! ;-) [ironic isn't it. :-) ]).
