The Value Village here in Bremerton is a hit or miss deal. They
usually overprice anything electronic there (like the Atari 2600
console, no power supply, RF switch, controllers, or games for $10 or
the Commodore 64c power supply for $10). We have found good deals
there though. That was where we paid $5.00 for a Fairchild Channel-F
and just today found a working SVGA monitor for $25 ($21 with my
student discount).
I noticed a large Value Village along I-5 earlier this month when I
was on the way to Camp Murray for an Airman Leadership seminar. Any
comments good or bad on that one? I may check it out when I make a
run to McChord to get some stuff for my squadron's blues inspection
coming up. Probably going to check out Nibbles and Bytes there too,
heard they usually have Amiga stuff there (looking for an Amiga mouse
for a friend, as well as a hard drive and more RAM for our A500)
