Can you ID this card?

Hi Gang,
  Picked up an interested card to add to the collection, but can't quite
confirm its function.  It's made by SSM Microcomputer Products and it's
called an A488 card.  It's got a 40 pin IC(MC68488) by Motorola, a 2716
EPROM, a couple jumpers, and a 26 pin connector out to the rest of the
world.  My guess would be it's a GPIB IEEE-488 card for the Apple II. 
Anyone familiar with this card?  Any docs or software??  Thanks in
advance.
