And, no II+ owner would forget the 16k "Language Card"!
Even so, considering the possibilities, Apple produced surprisingly few
plug-in cards. The company never seemed to be serious about pursuing profits
in II series Slot peripherals.
Apple's interest seemed to be in upgrading its machines without
especially caring who did it. So, today, most users have Apple II's crammed
with mainly 3rd-party and home brew cards.
