   There are some programs that will attempt to display .GIF files on
the //e, but be warned that the screen resolution is not that great
and the color palette is fixed and a total of 6 real colors (plus
interaction quirks). Drop by the comp.sys.apple2 Frequently Asked

section 6.6 "How do I view picture files from other platforms?" for
programs, etc. 

   There are no .JPG viewers for the //e, and even if someone made
one, you'd still run into the resolution and color problem again.
