If it is the FAQ that Nate maintains, then the information is outdated.
For example, both Matt Portune and myself _did not_ need to replace
(desolder) the integrated circuits that his FAQ claims needed to be
replaced to get 15MHz (Matt's Zip) and 13.75MHz (my Zip). Notice that
both units are running above 12.5MHz.

Unfortunately, that -10 means 100ns, not 10ns. :(

I have 70ns in DATA and 15ns in TAG and the Zip runs stable at 13.75MHz
_without_ soldering in the new gates that Nate's FAQ claims I need to.

You can find the chips of the right speed and size at
http://www.jdr.com/
(Take a look at my "Illustrated Guide to Upgrading the Zip GS" HyperCard
IIGS stack, which can be found at on the ground site and is much more
clear and updated than Nate's dated accelerator FAQ. Look in
http://ground.isca.uiowa.edu/apple2/apple16/Hypermedia/Hypercard/
for ZipUpgrade.SHK).
