Russki Duck -- How to play?
Hi all,
I'm digging out some old Apple //e games for grins, and have started playing
Russki Duck. I don't seem to have the instructions and can't find them on
the web. I tried reading the FAQ for help sites, but I can't view it. I'm
not even going to ask why...a quick glance through the newsgroup tells me
this is a hot topic and I really don't want to get involved.
I can move around the map, pick up & drop items, and open boxes with the
hammer. I know you can get points by taking objects back to where they
belong. I know bombs scatter objects in a room. I know you can find a duck
in a box, and two pieces of a 'WIN' card. And there is a CIA card that lets
you pass a green barrier in the CIA building. But I don't know what the goal
of the game is. Can anyone clue me in to this?
On another note, I read Scott G.'s post 'A Tale of Two Apples.' He made some
interesting points. I had an Apple //e, and was wanting a //gs, but then
Apple more or less killed the //* line in favor of the Mac. I have been on
PC's ever since. I've thought about buying a Mac now and then, but always
decide my money is better spent upgrading my PC system. Apple is just too
proud of their computers.
