how can I reset the Power Manager of my 190?
Hello,
I have made a 32 Mb RAM card installed onto my 190.
Since, if I put the powerbook to sleep, any attempt to awake it (by
pressing a key) crashes it. The "sleep" light stops blinking at soon I
press a key to awake it.
Someone told me I would have to reset the power manager. I used a T8
Torx to open it. I removed the keyboard, and found the battery on the
lower right part. The wire goes under the trackpad area. So, I removed
the plastic cache over it, but there is a metallic alike piece.
I saw the platic plug, but I would have to remove that metallic part,
and the hard-disk is below it. I didn't do, because I tried, and it
seemed too "dangerous" to me.
I cleaned it and closed it. It works fine, since I'm using it to type
this article.
I've read how someone resetted its power manager, by using a key combo.
I would like to know if ANYONE could tell me how I can RESET THE POWER
MANAGER on my 190 using a magic-alike combo?
That would help a lot, because to use a Powerbook which cannot go to
sleep has become annoying (and I'm getting more and more people
criticize my fellow 190, and it could become dangerous for them if they
go on).
Help!
