Commodore 64's use a luminance and chroma separation for a brighter
picture and this is what LCA stands for: luminance/chroma/audio. CVBS is
the composite video system used by the 8 bit II's. The switch activates
one or the other.

Three inputs for the three cables coming from a Commodore 64 or an
Amiga with separate leads (old style). Plug your IIc into the yellow
input. The red input is for the 64 chroma signal.

TTL is digital RGB used by the IIc running a 9 pin Video 7 adapter
(available from Alltech Electronics - www.allelec.com). Commodore 128's
use this input as well and the cable works perfectly with the above IIc
and Video 7 setup. There are 15 pin Video 7 adapters as well).

On my 1084, this houses a 6 pin analog din receptacle that you would
use for the Amiga or GS.

This is provided in place of your missing analog receptacle.

This allows you to run a VCR through the RGB inputs utilizing better
circuitry which filters out interference.

Allows selection of RGB and composite inputs from the front of the
monitor. The 1084 is identical in design to the Magnovox 40/80.
