If you actually believe that you aren't obligated, as FAQ maintainer, to
post it periodically to the newsgroup, then you're the one who must be
smoking something. But at this late a stage, I don't really hold hope
that people will listen to reason... we all seem to be deriving more
satisfaction out of merely flaming each other.
At this juncture I'd also like to point out a nitpick. Whilst some of
Nathan's cronies (Hey, if some people are going to be Turlette's [as
advocated by Kevin Noonan], why not have the cronies' group ;-) )
say that Dr Tom is the cause of all this, and the reason Nathan has
started blocking access, I'd just like to point out that it was still
Nathan who started this illegal access blocking, and has, as a side
consequence, brought to light his failure to follow a FAQ maintainer
mandates by not posting the full FAQ reguarly, as he is required.
Put it this way, here in Australia we've had a lot of cases of road rage
recently. Do you think if a car pulls in front of you and you have to slam
your brakes... does that give you the right to follow the car for twenty
minutes and then beat up the driver when you catch him? And yet you seem
to find Nathan blameless, and Dr. Tom the cause of all the problems.
