The FAQ for comp.software.year-2000 may have an explanation of the reason why
the year 2000 is still in the 20th century, and the millenium starts at
2001. Frankly, I feel that they should have just started at year 0 rather than
1 so there wouldn't be this confusion. In any case, I'm still going to be
parrty-ing on 31/12/99!
