Modern Macs DO have problems with 800K 3.5"s

Randy, you've got your head in the sand like an ostrich ignoring
all the many folks with Powermacs that can't reliably read/write GS
800K disks. So whaddya do? Offer evidence up that some Macs have the a
problem. However, that technote does NOT say that anything made newer
than 1995 DOESN'T have that problem, or refute the many folks that
ARE having problems.
If you're having problems getting any recent (Powermac and other
stuff after these AV things) Mac to reliably read/write 800K 3.5"
drives, please post here just so that we can get some stats and
evidence of this problem. Some folks would rather whitewash it away
and pretend it doesn't exist, but maybe with the light of facts in the
way, they might get a clue.
