There's a difference between mindless crossposting and topical references to
non II Apple products here. One is useful and one is not and should be nipped
in the bud.

I can tell you one thing, no one pitches such a fit when it happens. There are
plenty enough mac newsgroup readers who are also II savvy to handle them, and
in sharp contrast to this group, responses are always courteous.

Analogy: do you know intimately every model of car ever produced by [insert
the make of your car here] just because you own a [insert the model of your
car here]?
