How do you expand a .GZ file?  I found some old non-
copyrighted software, but I do not know how to use 
the files.


Doesn't .gz stand for Gzip?  I dont know much about it
at all.

Can I open a .gz file with an IBM, or an Apple IIe or 
IIgs?

While I am on the subject, the FAQ's have limited 
information about apple II Unzipping and expanding
programs.

What programs are available, and what are the latest
version numbers?

I have Shrinkit IIe (3.2.3_), and UnZip 1.1, but this
is all that I have been able to find.
