   You neglected to note which SCSI card you're using, as well as
which ProDOS version. ProDOS 2.0x contains code to remap devices to
unused slots, should the card be properly designed and notify it of
all the devices.  The RamFAST SCSI's builtin utils program also lets
you manually assign partitions to various slot/drive positions if you
have that card.

   ProDOS 2.0x requires an enhanced //e (which you said you had). For
