Without special software, you only get the normal 64K RAM disk with an aux
slot memory card. To get a bigger RAM disk, I recommend using the RAM disk
program which comes with Prosel 8. I used it on my RAMworks card until I
put a slinky card in my //e along with the RAMworks so I could have a RAM
disk and extended application memory too. 

Prosel 8 comes with some backup and restore programs which you can use with
the RAM disk, but only if you use the included RAM disk software. There's
even a version that can use a 65802/816 if your //e has one, one of like
five or so programs that does so. As far as availability goes, dunno. Maybe
someone else can fill in that part.
