Hmm. I WAS able to bring a program from my mac to my GS. I thought it was
an OS, but it turns out it was for installing CD software :) I had coppied
it onto a  previously bootable gs disk, though (putting the old contents in
a new folder via my mac). 

I'd still like to be able to see what the GS desktop looks like sometime...
