Help! Printing Options

Help!

I'm looking for suggestions as to how I might handle a printing problem.

The problem deals with printing large graphics files and photos.
It takes too long and wastes valuable time waiting for the print job to complete.

We have a Power Mac and a Mac IIsi at our disposal.

Anyone out there know what my options are as far as using both machines to fix the problem?

I know we can network the 2 machines and print from the IIsi, but it only has an 80 meg HD.
Do I need to have the program(s) installed on the IIsi that created the document(s) I'm printing,
or is there a way around this?  The goal here is to use the IIsi as a print server without tying up
the Power Mac during printing.  Any ideas?
