That was a fantasic game, crossing a flight simulator with an arcade
style game, but unfortunately there is only an 8-bit version written. My
wish has always been to write a IIgs port of that, if I were a programmer
that it. ;-)

Flight-simulation is one area where IIgs software was always weak.
The only decent (if not the only one) that would fit what you want is
Tomahawk GS, published by Datasoft. It had excellent sound and other
features, but the images were very simple being drawn in lined 3-D.

Here's my list: Out of This World, The Immortal, Zany Golf, Task Force,
Arkanoid I and II, Thexder, SpaceFox, Rastan, Xenocide, DuelTris, Cosmocade,
Dungeon Master, Ancient Land of Ys, LemminGS, Pick'n'Pile, Ultima 1 (GS),
Alien Mind, Defender of The World, Fire Power, Crystal Quest, Silpheed,
Tunnels of Armageddon, Mazer II, Columns GS and PuyoPuyo. [That covers
most of the best ones, but as usual, I'm sure others have some to add to
the list :)]
Also look for Wolfenstein 3-D once it's completed. And especially the
upcoming Kaboom! which could very well be the best game to hit the IIgs
ever! (it is a 4-player Bomberman port, _and_, being written by the team
at Ninjaforce. What more could you ask for? :)
>I want to get Arcade, Text, Adventure, RPG, Strategy games for the IIgs.
The only thing is with the disappearence of companies like Big Red
and EGO Systems, there are virtually no sources to purchase these games
from any longer. Your going to basically have to look on csa2.marketplace,
thrift shops or other sources of used software.
LemminGS is the only game I know of that can still be purchased new
today (from Shareware Solutions II). A few of the others I mention above
are shareware or freeware though, so as long as you have access to FTP
or a local usersgroup, you can always get hold of those.
