To me, The Disk II interface for an IBM would be helpful to send people
software to help them out, and it would be another cool addition to my
collection.
I already have more IIe's, IIgs's, and IIc's than I can count.
The Number of IBM's that I have that can read Apple II disks? ZERO
If I had the ability to make such a card, I would offer it to everyone
for a small fee. Just enough to experiment and get the thing working, and
the cost of parts.
Lots of people have DATA on old Apple II disks. I would be handy to be
able to stick these old 5.25's in a Drive connected to an IBM, and import
those files into a modern program.
Personally, I prefer the Apple II, but it does have its limitations, and
an Apple disk reading IBM would help out once in a while
