Oregon Trail is copyrighted. Contact MECC to buy it from them.
They have a web site, but don't have Apple II stuff on the web site. At
one point I asked them if they ever planned on putting the stuff they no
longer sell up on their web or ftp site (possibly as shareware) and they
seemed amenable to the idea but were in no rush to do anything..
However, they do continue to sell Oregon Trail I believe (the Apple II
version I mean.. There are new versions for other computers that, at least
from the ads, are NOTHING like the original game and are a blasphemy to the
original game. Hell, the second version with the arcade sequence is a
blasphemy to the original game. Plus, hitting the deer was WAY too easy!)
