Grappler+ - serial or parallel?
I have a Grappler+ card, but I'm not sure whether it's serial or
parallel.
On the back, it says "MADE IN THE U. S. A.", "71OM110001", "(C) 1983
ORANGE MICRO INC.", and "I.V.C.". There's a carrot under the "V.".
On the front, it says "Grappler+", "Printer Interface", Orange Micro",
and "ACJ 451" (written in marker on a white-painted rectangle).
It has:
-a block of 4 DIP switches
-a connector of 26 pins (looks like the ones on a Disk ][ interface).
12 of these pins are soldered together
All chips except for 1 (the biggest one, an Intel chip) are soldered
to the card.
A pinout chart in Ground's Miscinfo folder hints to me that my card is
parallel, but I don't need to spend mucho resources buying
Harmonie/Independence, buying a 26 pin->25 pin/centronics adapter,
trying to return everything, and the anguish of having nothing work :)
