Re: The Pirate's Guild

It's bad enough that you operate a pirate ftp site, but it's even worse
that you throw it in the face of the Apple II developers whose hard work
you steal.

If you didn't operate so out in the open, then the Apple II developers of
the world wouldn't be as up in arms as they are right now over your
actions. But, apparently, that appears to be one of your goals.

There used to be a time when there was "honor among thieves." That
apparently no longer applies.

Your antics these past few weeks have completely hijacked any meaningful
Apple II discussions on these newsgroup, as everyone is too busy arguing
the pros and cons of piracy, and who is a fascist and who is not.

You crow about your accomplishments as a copyright infringer, right in
front of the noses of those who you steal from. That's intolerable.

To all the rest of you...is this really the kind of "community" you want
to be a part of? Isn't it about time that you opened your mouth, and/or
took some action?

So, I'll ask it again...what's wrong with this picture, and what ARE you
going to do about it?

As you think about it, remember this phrase from a long ago era: "If
you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem."

By keeping quiet, you're encouraging them.

It's so bizarre that on csa2, it's the pirates who are the heros and the
Apple II programmers/developers who are perceived as the enemy of the
Apple II.

Something is very, very wrong here. Horribly wrong...
