Disk ][ refurb, case replacement, etc.

I just completed a little journey into a pair of Disk ]['s (one
a Bell+Howell and the other an Apple) just to swap out their cases,
since the Apple one died, and I wanted a good mechanism with an
Apple case, but the B+H drive only cost me $5. 

Would anyone be interested in a post/email/or HTML version of
instructions on replacing Disk ][ drive cases?  Or has this been
done already?  (No sense in reinventing the wheel!)

Also, now I have a bad Disk ][ mechanism with a Bell and Howell
case.  Any ideas on what to do with it?  Bookend?  Doorstop?  :-)
Anyone want it shipped to them?  One that idea crossed my mind was
to melt some candles onto it, and set it on my desk with 
_The_Apple_II_Circuit_Description_ open to some arcane-looking
page.  :-D
