I was totally oblivious to Apple IIs! I thought that Apples must have died when
the Macs came out. Of course, I never new that much about Macs until a couple of
years ago; I used an Apple in 12th grade(1980!), and I saw the "1984"
commercial, but that was it until last year when I bought a Performa 5200(a day
before it was recalled!). BTW, in the `80s while many of you were on the one
true path towards computing nirvana, my I bought a TI 16k('82?) and then an ADAM
computer(Coleco) both of which were discontinued as I was walking out of the
store. Have I got great luck with computers or what?

Okay, well just bought a complete IIc setup, even with a tricked out CPU and a
C-VUE LCD display. I bought it for many reasons:
1. it was cheap
2. it's a great conversation piece(the small green monitor is coool!)
3. it's portable(I could hook it up to my Rambler!)
4. to do word processing 
5. quick, fun games(todays games are fantastic, but they take up hours)!
