How do you sell items in Adventure Construction Set?

I recently started playing ACS by electronic arts, actually I'm playing
the "rivers of light" adventure that comes with it.  After playing for a
little while I remembered how to do most stuff, but I can't remember how
to sell items.

Does anyone remember how to sell items?
I thought it would be in the stores, where you can buy stuff, but if it
is there I can't figure out how.
Do you have to talk to a certain person? or use different controls with
the keyboard or joystick?
