Apple cards & memory

I got these cards today in AppleIIe computers.

Slotware by Microtek rev 611 seem to be printer control cards.
Do they require software?

Disk II interface card  650 x104.  These are DiskII control cards.

Super serial cardII.

AIIE 80 col/64K memory expansion 1981 apple.  I have three diferent
versions of this card.  
        1  Small seems to be the same one that is in my enhanced IIe.
Marked
AIIe 80COL/64K Memory expansion
        2  Larger marked AIIE 80COL
        3  Largest marked AIIE 80COL/64 K MEMORY EXPANSION

What is the difference?

What are the Slotware card and the Super Serial CardII good for?

I found 2 1 meg simm chips.  Are they good for anything in an Apple
IIgs?
Can I populate a memory expansion board with them?  How do I do that?
