   Commodore users are voting their support of the platform with their
pocketbooks. Looking at the numbers of dwindling Apple II vendors and
supporters (RIP Ego, Softdisk, A2-Central, etc), it's pretty clear
that Apple II users ain't. Piracy's running rampant (a way of voting
with the pocketbook by supporting scum, not developers), and there's
no support of hardware *or* software developers in any form meaningful
enough for them to stay Apple II only and committed.

   Consumers are what drive systems and further development, and the
Apple II community has voted against that by not sponsoring that. It's
everyone's choice to pirate software, not buy any new hardware, and
generally don't support anyone, but you have nobody to blame but
yourself when there's nothing new.

   Those who live for the past sacrifice any future they might have
had.
