See, Adalbert is talking an Apple slinky card, not a IIgs card, as I surmised
elsewhere in this thread.

One caveat is that Apple's cards require CAS/RAS refresh chips and RAMworks
cards do not. I got bittn by this when I first got my IIgs way back in '87
and tried to swap chips off my RAMworks II onto my IIgs memory card. Didn't
work.

Slinkies allow 768K but the bank layout is funky.

I'd have to look at my card or manual to remember which is the first bank
on a RAMworks II card myself. I say scare up chips and fill all the cards
up since it's so cheap to do so these days.
