One guess is that the program wants you to enter an actual
file name (not just a prefix) for the Source and, perhaps, the
Destination.

You do not say what Change-A-File 2.15 is supposed to do. An
example of acceptable inputs might be ...

Source /BLANK/NARF.TXT
(NARF.TXT is a file in BLANK's main directory.)

Destination /BLANK/TRYS/NARF.00.TXT
(NARF.00.TXT is the new copy of NARF.TXT; and, it is written to
the TRYS directory.)

There are all sorts of ways a program might handle filetype
changing. If Change-A-File 2.15 is supposed let you change
filetype, something like the following _may_ be correct ...

Source /BLANK/NARF.TXT
(NARF.TXT is a file in BLANK's main directory.)

Destination /BLANK/TRYS/NARF.00.BIN, T$06
(NARF.TXT is written to the TRYS directory as a binary type file
named "NARF.00.BIN".)
