Less now than in the past.

Moved to other platforms, or tired of flame wars (or both).

Quite possibly. Internet News is nowhere near as reliable today as it
was four years ago.

Why not just post a detailed description, and I'm sure someone will be
able to help. I have seen a reasonable variety of common cards.

Some key questions in identifying it:

1. Is there anything obvious identifying the name of the manufacturer on
the card?

2. Which slot does it plug into (how many pins are there on the
connector)? 60 pins = IIe auxiliary slot, 50 = standard slot, 44 = IIgs
memory expansion slot. If it doesn't have the normal type of slot
connector, it might be a piggyback card for another memory card, or a
IIc memory expansion card.

3. What type of RAM chips does it use?

4. Any large chips with identifiable part numbers?
