IIGS and TCP/IP

Hello Everyone,

I recently starting working at a Community Technology Center. We have a
mixed platform environment of Macs, PCs, and a number of IIGS machines.
The Macs and PC are rapidly being connected to a local fileserver and the
Internet. The IIGS machines are connected to each other via Appletalk.
While I know a fair amount about the Macs and a bit about PCs, I am
absolutely clueless about the IIGS.

Most of our users are interested in "surfing the net" and using a Mac or
PC to do so. As a result, the IIGSs are doing a great job collecting dust.
I'd like
to connect the IIGSs to the Internet as well.

My questions are as follows:

- Is it possible to add an Ethernet card and/or TCP/IP software to the IIGS?

- If so, will it take an advanced degree in physics to install it?

- What kinds of options are there available for useful implementations
and/or
the recycling of the IIGS in the age of Netscape?

- Where can one find useful Internet resources on the venerable Apple IIGS?

Please send your replies to me directly as well as to the list.

Thanks.
