     Since you are working with a ][+ and into its related lore, the "Woz 
Machine" to which you refer may be the "Sweet-16" interpreter by Woz. 
Sometimes, it was referred to as a "machine".

     Sweet-16 is described, including codes and examples, in the Roger 
Wagner book _Assembly Lines_ (ISBN 0-927796-03-1). Sweet-16 was included 
in ROM in early Apple ]['s. It is not included in the ][+ Auto-Start ROM 
or in ROM's of later Apple ]['s.

     If you have the "Language Card" installed in your ][+, you can get 
access to Sweet-16 by just starting Integer BASIC. Sweet-16 is included 
in Integer BASIC.

     As already mentioned, the Apple ][ Reference Manual is your best 
guide. You want the version with a white cover and a picture of the Apple 
on the cover. (No ISBN number is shown on my copy.)

     A very good guide to addresses and functions is a large green manual 
named "What's Where in the Apple" by William F. Luebbert (ISBN: 
0-938222-07-4).

     Also, look for a copy of Beagle's famous "Peeks, Pokes, and 
Pointers" poster. (Maybe Willie, the Treasure Chest Project director, 
knows whether or not the Beagle poster can be duplicated and 
distributed.)
