	Assuming this is Apple's own disk drive and it's written
"disk ][" on the lower left (rather than the arabic "2" you wrote
above,) yes it will still work.  "disk ][" is just its name, and
both drive 1 and 2 will pretty much be identical.

	Most any disk controller card for the Apple II, make sure it's
the one with the two seperate 20-pin connectors and not a single DB25
connector.

	For the ][plus, Apple's own reference manual is a pretty good
start (or at least I thought so when I first saw it, since the //e owners
manual which came with my //e didn't offer much to a young geek hungering
to program =^)  Look for my recent posting in c.s.a2.marketplace, I'm
giving away the two above items plus a pile of other stuff for postage.
