Great nomination. Does anyone remember the 3 1/4" floppies (yes, not 3 1/2
or 5 1/4, but 3 1/4) that were pushed for a while. They had their own
format, interface card and the like, and stored (as I recall) 288K. They
were made by the same folks who made double-sided and double-density 5 1/4
drives but I can't remember their name. The 3 1/4 drives were hyped hugely
in ads and I can't remember ANYONE buying them.
