I recall magazine ads circa 1981 promoting "The Last One" claiming to be
"the last software program you'll ever buy".  I never saw it released and
I recall speculation that it would retail for over $600, but I never saw
reviews nor any more ads after the initial media blitz.  I guess the
claims could have been true since you practically bankrupt after that
purchase.
