Sigh ... One is brought, nearly, to tears.
Like, it just isn't fair! The Vogons on KF's Happiness Committee were just
doing their job. The letter to that Dr. Tom person explained, very politely, why
he was not welcomed and should not attend.
So, after years of being lied about, watching as his ][ projects were
sabotaged, and having his contributions belittled, did Dr. Tom face reality and
cry with joy at this kind, understanding rejection? Did ][ users, thus assured
that there would be no violence this year, rush to reserve places? Did even one
csa2 member think to say "Thank you, Net Nazis!"? No! No! and No! What has
happened to gratitude?
